Why Visitpal?

My brother was young, social and suddenly terminally ill. In the last phase of his life he stayed in a hospice. The many visits gave him support, but it was difficult to coordinate.

Sometimes it was too busy for him, while at other times he needed company. Visitors often didn't know if someone was already there, which regularly resulted in multiple people being in his room at the same time.

To create peace and overview, I decided to develop Visitpal. This allowed us to better coordinate visits, creating more room for what really mattered.

Because I don't wish anyone to be in such a situation, I'm happy to share this tool with others who need it.

How can I schedule visits with Visitpal?+

Scheduling visits with Visitpal is easy: first create a free agenda, share the unique link with family and friends, and they can directly choose a suitable time. Everyone automatically receives an email confirmation.

Do visitors need an account to schedule a visit?+

No, visitors don't need an account. They can schedule a visit directly via the shared link without registration. This makes it extra accessible for everyone.

For which situations can I use Visitpal?+

Visitpal is perfect for scheduling visits during hospital stays, home care, hospice care, newborn visits, rehabilitation and other special moments where peace and overview are important.

Is Visitpal free to use?+

Yes. Creating an agenda and having visits scheduled is free, and for visitors it's always free. If you want more, such as extra agendas or planning further ahead, you can get Visitpal Plus.

What is Visitpal Plus?+

Plus gives you more room when planning: up to 3 agendas, planning up to a year ahead, an email for every new appointment, a daily overview by email, closing days or parts of days, an automatic email to the visitor when you cancel a visit (if they left an email address), extra managers who can plan with you, looking back at past appointments and a daily visitor limit. Plus costs €3.99 per month, cancel monthly, or €4.99 for a single month.

Can I cancel Plus?+

Yes. You cancel the monthly subscription via Settings → Subscription; you keep Plus until the end of the current month. A single month stops by itself. Your agendas and settings are kept. If you created extra agendas with Plus, visitors temporarily cannot book on them; if you get Plus again later, everything works as before right away.

Can I try Plus first?+

Yes. You can try Plus once for 7 days free of charge, without entering payment details. You start the trial yourself under Settings → Subscription. After a week it stops by itself and you will not be charged.

How do I pay for Plus?+

Securely with iDEAL, through our payment partner Stripe. Visitpal doesn't see or store your bank details. You manage everything yourself under Settings → Subscription.

Can I schedule visits 24/7?+

Yes, Visitpal is available online 24/7. Visitors can schedule a visit at any time that suits them, without waiting times or phone lines.

How do I keep track of all scheduled visits?+

Via your personal dashboard you can see all scheduled visits at a glance, and the app shows a notification right away when someone schedules a visit. With Visitpal Plus you also get an email for every new appointment.
